Compassionate and creative counselling for children, young people and adults
Based in Ivybridge, South Devon and online
Are you or your child feeling anxious or confused?
I am very aware of the many challenges faced by children, young people and adults today and the lack of NHS support available for mental health.
I work creatively in helping children, young people and adults to explore their difficulties and develop resilience, confidence, self-awareness and new coping strategies, whatever challenges they are experiencing.
I am fully qualified to support adults of all ages and children from the age of 8.

Let me introduce myself: I'm a qualified integrative counsellor so will draw on the right skills and strategies for each client, including talking therapy, person centred skills, CBT, mindfulness, transactional analysis and creative and play techniques.
I believe in the power of nature so also offer walk and talk/outdoor counselling in the local area for those who prefer to be outdoors (usually 16 years and older).
I am qualified, registered and accredited with NCPS , insured and regularly take part in ongoing professional training. I am registered with HMRC and pay my personal tax.
What can you or your child expect from counselling?
This will be different depending on the presenting issues, age and the way you or your child likes to engage. If face-to-face it may include creative ways of working such as clay, drawing or sand tray rather than just talking.
I aim for my therapy room/online space to be a safe place to explore what is troubling you, explore how to deal with this and to build up a resilience 'toolkit' for any future difficulties.
Seeking counselling is not a sign that you have failed, more that you recognise you want to make changes for yourself or those you love.
