Coaching

I completed my Masters dissertation into coaching in 2012 and if you prefer I can work with you as a coach, or as a hybrid model between counselling and coaching. This is more suited to older teenagers or adults.

The most important difference between these two approaches is their focus. Counselling focuses on understanding, resolving and healing emotional trauma or barriers carried through from the past. Coaching is focused on the present and future and usually around a specific goal.

Coaches help you to identify goals, leverage personal strengths and take action. Therefore, the focus is very different from counselling.

Coaching is more structured and focused on actionable strategies and external growth. Counselling is mopre therapeutic and less structured.

Sessions can be shorter for coaching and are usually delivered weekly online. These are £20 for 30 minutes.
